HydraCoat is our advanced reactive polymer sealant, designed to deliver impressive water beading, excellent sheeting, outstanding gloss and 10–12 weeks of protection.
Applied through your foam cannon after washing, HydraCoat adds a hydrophobic protective layer without the time-consuming process of applying and buffing traditional waxes.
Use it on unprotected paintwork or as a maintenance top-up over compatible existing protection.

Why use HydraCoat?

How to use HydraCoat
1. Wash your vehicle thoroughly
Complete your normal pre-wash and contact wash before applying HydraCoat.
Rinse thoroughly, leaving the vehicle wet. Ensure the surfaces are cool and out of direct sunlight.
2. Prepare your foam cannon
Shake HydraCoat thoroughly before use.
Dilute at 10:1, using ten parts water to one part HydraCoat.
3. Apply to the wet vehicle
Using your foam cannon, apply HydraCoat evenly across the clean, wet exterior, including compatible paintwork, plastics and glass.
4. Allow 4–5 minutes of dwell time
Allow HydraCoat to work for approximately 4–5 minutes.
Never allow the product to dry on the surface. If conditions are causing the product to dry sooner, rinse immediately.
5. Pressure wash thoroughly
Using clean water, pressure wash the vehicle thoroughly, working from bottom to top to ensure all product residue is removed.
6. Finish and dry
Once thoroughly rinsed, dry any remaining water using a clean microfibre drying towel.
Enjoy enhanced gloss, impressive water repellency and a protective finish designed to last 10–12 weeks under suitable conditions.
7. Clean your foam cannon
After application, flush your foam cannon thoroughly with clean water to remove any remaining sealant solution.
Run clean water through the lance to prevent residue accumulating inside the gauze and internal components.
Don't skip this step. Your foam cannon deserves a clean too.
A couple of questions we get asked
Is HydraCoat a drying aid or a paint sealant?
HydraCoat is a reactive polymer paint sealant. Its hydrophobic properties also help water run off treated surfaces, making drying easier, but its main purpose is to provide lasting protection.
Making drying easier is a bonus. Protecting your vehicle is the real job.
What's the difference between HydraCoat and UltraGloss?
UltraGloss was our previous rinse aid and gloss-enhancing product. HydraCoat has now superseded it.
While UltraGloss focused on helping with drying and improving gloss, HydraCoat delivers those benefits alongside a longer-lasting reactive polymer protective layer.
We could have continued selling both. Two products, two sales opportunities.
But we'd rather sell you the product we believe does the better job.
